SUBJECT: CMS PTG Digital Directory Invite for Families

Attention CMS Parents/Guardians!

The CMS PTG is excited to present our new online platform called, Membership Toolkit, for our PTG Website, Digital Directory, Online Sales, and Communications.  Login is required for access to the digital directory.  If you are not interested in access to the directory, no action is required.

Why are we moving to a digital directory?

  • secure online site with login required; only available to CMS families or faculty
  • sustainable option - saves paper!
  • immediate addition of new families who joining during the year
  • immediate updates for changes of member's address, email or phone numbers
  • individual preferences for options about sharing families' information (phone #, address and/or email)
  • choice to opt in or out at anytime throughout the year
  • convenient app is available for download
  • increased functionality including search function
  • free for all families

Still want a paper directory?
Paper directories are available for purchase here and will be delivered sometime in October.

How to access & update the digital directory?

  • Go to https://cmsptg.membershiptoolkit.com/home
  • Click on the Register/Login button.
  • Already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit? Use the same email and password to login, then proceed to the numbered steps below.
  • Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
  • Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. Link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
  • Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.
  1. Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information (information has been pre-populated from Aspen for those that checked yes to appear in the directory - updates can be made at anytime). Please review and make any updates needed to your information including adding Team Name.
  2. Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.

Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.  Or families can use 1 login whatever is easier.

Once you have an account, you may download the app as well.

App Store or Google Play

Once logged in to the website, here's the direct link to the directory page. Or use the top menu to navigate to Communications & Community/Directory.

Questions? - Please don't hesitate to contact us at cmsannouncements@gmail.com or cmsptgpresidents@gmail.com.

Admin note

The digital directory only includes rising 7th and 8th graders at this point.  We have not yet received the full 2023-2024 list of families.  Once the school sends us the full list of families including new families and rising 6th grade, the digital directory will be complete (sometime later in the summer).  If you know of a new family, you can forward along this email and they can sign-up and add themselves in the meantime.  Also, any family not returning in the fall will be removed once we get the final list.  If you were forwarded this email and signing up, there may be a 1-2 day delay in receiving directory access as all new contacts need to be verified.

Student Art Contest for CMS 2023-2024 Directory Cover

The Concord Middle School PTG is holding a student art contest to find the image that will adorn the cover of our next student directory as well as the home page of our new website!  Please submit your art for consideration! Any student who is at CMS in the fall is eligible. A submission deadline near the start of the school year will be announced in the fall via this newsletter.  The theme of your piece can be anything clearly related to Concord or CMS.  Prior years' submissions have included famous places in town, panthers (the CMS mascot), the school buildings, an embellished school logo, students, etc.  Full color is preferred, either hand drawn/painted or digitally created.  Artwork to be 5 ½” x 5 ½” (at 300dpi if digital) and submitted either on paper or in jpg format. Images can be drawn from memory, observation or reference photographs but NOT from reference illustrations/drawings and NOT by using “how-to-draw” videos.  Good luck to all!
