Peabody to Sanborn Unified Winter Fun Run, Walk, Stroll

Join us on Thursday, February 13 for the final event in Concord Middle School’s 55-year history of the two-building model! This special Unified Winter Fun Run, Walk, Stroll will bring our school community together for a memorable and meaningful celebration.

The event will begin immediately after school at the Peabody flagpole and conclude at the Sanborn flagpole. Thanks to the Concord Police, roads between the two buildings will be safely closed for participants during the event. 

To participate, you must complete this form, which includes listing three sponsors.

These sponsors will pledge an amount equal to the temperature (in degrees Fahrenheit) recorded at the Peabody flagpole at the start of the race. For example, if the temperature at the starting line is 28°F, each sponsor will donate $28. While sponsors might hope for a colder day to minimize their donation, participants and adaptive athletes will likely cheer for warmer weather and higher contributions! (No money needs to be collected for this registration form to be complete. Participants are only looking for pledges. Money will be collected in early March, following the event and after the move.) 

All proceeds will support the 8th Grade Washington D.C. Scholarship Fund, with 100% of the money raised going to families in need of financial assistance. Participation is strongly encouraged for all 8th graders attending the Washington D.C. trip, as this event helps reduce overall trip costs for families in scholarship need.

All students participating will complete the event in time to catch the 4:30 PM late bus.
